Ladies and Gentlemen, Please Fasten Your Seatbelts and Prepare for a Crash Landing Innovation or Progress at a Dangerous Velocity?

With the introduction of air traffic, came the introduction of contrails. With ozone depletion, climate changes, and "look what we can do" scientific arrogance now comes…"chemtrails?" There hasn't been any official acknowledgement of chemtrails, but there have been concerned citizens doing their own investigations on what is being sprayed in our skies and then sinking down onto the earth, the water, and…us.
Besides the calcium chloride and silver iodide, there have been independent reports about high levels of radioactive barium and a form of aluminum discovered by researchers like Clifford Carnicom.1 These heavy metals are known to be linked to Alzheimer's disease. Other reports have indicated the presence of high levels of metallic particles in rainwater, which eventually end up in our rivers and reservoirs. In addition to chemicals, there have been reports of biological material found after chemtrail spraying operations. In some instances, there have been samples collected by researchers containing molds—a serious respiratory hazard.2
Certain branches of the government do admit programs of climate control. The following is found the following on the Internet:
The Atmospheric Chemistry Program (ACP) is a Global Change Research program sponsored by the Environmental Sciences Division of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)3
I don't think the "Global Change" they're referring to is a more spiritized population that works for the betterment of all life on the planet.
Associated with the ACP is the Tropospheric Aerosol Program (TAP) which publicly states:
"much of the science…that had been planned for will in the future be conducted under the Department of Energy's Atmospheric Science Program, which, beginning in Fiscal Year 2005, will focus on radiative forcing of climate change by atmospheric aerosols."4
I can't help but wonder if that's the politically-correct way to describe chemtrails.
Information can also be found on patents given for devices and chemicals used for weather modification. The abstract for patent 6,315,213 states the invention is:
A method for artificially modifying the weather by seeding rain clouds of a storm with suitable cross-linked aqueous polymer [basically, a plastic]. The polymer is dispersed into the cloud and the wind of the storm agitates the mixture causing the polymer to absorb the rain. This reaction forms a gelatinous substance which precipitate [sic] to the surface below. Thus, diminishing the clouds ability to rain.5
Hmm…a "gelatinous substance" which “precipitates to the surface”? I must say, it's got me a little concerned.
You may want to check it out yourself—search the Internet for "Operation Cloverleaf" and see what's being said. The information is dizzying—but, based on the mindsets of those in positions of power, not too far-fetched. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you wish, but I can't help but suspect there are some people in high places with some serious control issues. Besides spraying chemicals in the atmosphere to try to control the climate, there is also suspicion that chemicals are being used to "mitigate global warming and the rapid collapse of Earth's ecosystems, to patch the ozone holes, and to shield life from the increased infrared, ultraviolet and cosmic rays from space." Although that may sound like an altruistic use of atmospheric chemicals, did any of those clever minds behind chemtrails ask why our eco-system is collapsing in the first place?
Additional theories on Operation Cloverleaf include: 1) a means of facilitating electromagnetic mind control technologies that subjugate and control human populations physically, mentally, and spiritually; 2) a way to conceal aerial and satellite observation, facilitate a new military communications system, and defend against incoming ICBMs (intercontinental and ballistic missiles; 3) a delivery system for mass immunizations without the knowledge of the population and (on the other end of the spectrum); 4) a delivery system to facilitate global population reduction to sustainable levels. Other theories were also listed, but they were too far-out—even for me.
Is humankind mistaking some types of innovation for progress? Unbridled innovation may contain within it the seeds of retrogression. The URANTIA Book (p. 1457:02) warns us, "Unless the moral insight and the spiritual attainment of mankind are proportionately augmented, the unlimited advancement of a purely materialistic culture may eventually become a menace to civilization. A purely materialistic science harbors within itself the potential seed of the destruction of all scientific striving, for this very attitude presages the ultimate collapse of a civilization which has abandoned its sense of moral values and has repudiated its spiritual goal of attainment."
We seem to be constantly trying to fix up the messes we're making, only to find we're making new messes. Now don't get me wrong, I thoroughly appreciate many of the scientific advances we've made, but we need to be ever wary of the intent behind all the clever contraptions, devices, and "programs." Imagine what this world would be like if all of humankind's creativity and innovativeness were motivated not by profit or power but a genuine desire to make this world a better place for everyone to live in.
